Counterfeit CellPhone Accessories
So many buyers try to save money and get a deal that they do not realize they just purchased counterfeit Bluetooth headset, case, car charger. I have been in the business sector for over 20 years and did not realize how bad fake cell phone accessories have become.
Take for example you buy a Bluetooth headset you think is made by Motorola. The Bluetooth headset is counterfeit, but the charger is fake brand X. Original Motorola Bluetooth headset will have an original charger in the package. Years ago Motorola and other manufactures tried to make it easier to tell the difference between original and fake products, but China is pretty effective.
One of the reason fake cellular phone accessories is a big problem is due to Motorola moving their manufacturing to China. How often do you see “Made in China”. The counterfeiters have access to the real product so it’s easy to make a fake copy of it. Ebay is probably the best place to locate fake cellphone accessories.
Search for a Coach Face Plate and look at all the listings. I am not sure of all Coach products, but I know they don’t make or licensed any cellular phone face plates. I was totally shocked to find out they make counterfeit car chargers. We sell Original car chargers for about half the cost of a local phone store, but on Ebay you can find a counterfeit car charger for half our cost.
Counterfeiting cellular phone accessories is so bad that Coach, Chanel and Louis Vuitton have employess surfing Ebay looking for counterfeit products so they can get them removed from the Ebay site. They have a major challenge, but how you can find fault with them for trying. How would you like people making money off all your hard work with a fake product.
I guess it’s another example of how it’s hard to trust people or cheap buyers are easier to take advantage of in business.
