Cats are cool and sweet and like us they also enjoy watching TV.
My cat is more or less the same, she might not watch much TV but like us she enjoys sitting by the table when we have dinner which I think it is quite cool.
It seems to me that cats are so used to humans that they even enjoy imitating their owners.
Cats make an excellent company and really know how to be there for you in despite of what some people say.
