Brisbane Boat Show
The Brisbane Boat Show is a four day event usually in August. It has proven to be very successful with 50 years in promoting the Queenslanders’ marine lifestyle. Every year, it is held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre in Southbank, which is located near serviced apartments in Brisbane. Even if you’re not a boating fan, you’ll still be amazed at the spectacular watercraft on display. Tropfest
Tropfest is the world’s largest short film festival held in the Domain in Sydney every February. Each year, the short films of the filmmaker finalists are screened. It is also broadcast via satellite in Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, Adelaide, Hobart and Perth.
Brisbane Festival
The Brisbane Festival is the city’s premier arts and cultural event and is held throughout September. The festival includes theatre, dance and music events at various venues in Brisbane.
